2019Columbia Valley Chardonnay

[Sold Out]

The 2019 Jaine Chardonnay was crafted from one small vineyard parcel in the Columbia Valley, located just outside of Othello, WA. The vineyard is fully sustainable and uses organic farming methods, whenever possible. The vineyards were hand-harvested early in the morning of September 5th. Upon arriving in the winery, the vineyard lot was hand-sorted, whole cluster pressed, and fermented using a combination of native yeast in small stainless steel tanks. To maintain freshness and verve, this Chardonnay was exclusively kept in tanks as opposed to cellaring in oak. Over the course of 8 months, this wine was individually evaluated over 40 times by our winemaking team, and finally bottled on July 23rd. Only 382 cases were made.

Tasting Notes

"Bright notes of fresh peach, nectarine, white tea and citrus blossoms. Swirling adds a hint of lime and chalky minerality. The palate is round and glassy with a complex blend of warm citrus, stone fruits and lychee. This wine is silky and persistent." - Bryan Otis, Proprietor
