2019Columbia Valley Rosé

[Sold Out]

The 2019 Jaine Rose’ was crafted from one small vineyard parcel in the Columbia Valley, located at a lower elevation for the Royal Slope. The vineyard is fully sustainable and uses organic farming methods, whenever possible. The vineyards were hand-harvested early in the evening of October 4th. Upon arriving in the winery, the vineyard lot was hand-sorted, de-stemmed and macerated for 24 hours before whole cluster pressing. It was then fermented using a combination of native yeast in small stainless steel tanks. Over the course of 8 months, this Rose’ was individually evaluated over 40 times by our winemaking team, and finally bottled on August 3, 2020. Only 877 cases were made.

Awards & Accolades

"The 2019 Jaine Rose is sourced from the Thunderstone Vineyard. Entirely made from Grenache, this shows pretty orange blossom and red rose water aromatics with melon and wet stone undertones on the nose. The palate is soft and very pretty in the fruit quality it delivers. Layers of guava, red cherry and pomegranate all combine with shades of cantaloupe, with an underlying mineral presence. This is just brilliant stuff by Aryn Morell. Drink 2021-2026."
