2019Members Reserve Chardonnay
2019Members Reserve Chardonnay
The 2019 Jaine Members Reserve Chardonnay was crafted from Solaksen and La Reyna Blanca vineyard in the Royal Slope. This vineyard is fully sustainable and uses organic farming methods whenever possible. The vineyard was hand-harvested early in the morning throughout September 2019.
Upon arriving in the winery, the grapes were hand-sorted, whole-cluster pressed, and fermented with native yeast. The wine was fermented and aged in oak for 32 months. Bottling took place in June 2022 with only 104 cases made.
"The 2019 Jaine Member Reserve Chardonnay shows lemon yellow in the glass with aromas of white peach, citrus pith, hazelnut and dried herbs. An intoxicating blend of almond roca, macadamia nut, pineapple and banana chips mingle on this broad, viscous, full-bodied palate. The finish shows a combination of crushed rock minerality with white chocolate and kaffir lime leaf flavors." - Bryan Otis, Proprietor

Solaksen Vineyard
Solaksen Vineyard is in the Royal Slope AVA in the Columbia Valley of Washington State, atop the Frenchman Hills. “Solaksen” is a Norwegian-inspired term for “off axis to the sun,” and the vines here are planted in 7’ by 3’ spacing in an off-axis direction.
