Vintage Notes

100% Chardonnay. Crafted from Evergreen Vineyard in the Ancient Lakes AVA. Evergreen is a sustainably farmed high-elevation vineyard with varied soil types, which contribute complexity to the wine. It was harvested early in the morning on October 8th. Upon arrival at the winery, the Chardonnay was pressed, fermented, and aged entirely in stainless steel to focus on the purity of fruit. After seven months of aging, the wine was bottled in April of 2022.

For years the Evergreen Vineyard has been a prime, cooler spot for Washington Chardonnay. Golden once in the glass, the 2021 ‘Evergreen Vineyard’ Chardonnay opens with ripe nectarine alongside roasted pineapple and toasted hazelnuts. The palate is soft and elegant with a good viscosity and bright acidity holding everything together. With good length this is already beautifully evolved wine that will cellar well over the next seven years. Drink 2022-2029.
