A textured and flavorful chardonnay with notes of toasted hazelnuts, baked apples, brown butter, nutmeg and some orange fruit. Full-bodied and ripe, while maintaining tension. Drink now.
“The Jaine Evergreen Vineyard Chardonnay is bright and pale yellow in color. It has an aromatic bouquet of fresh cut hay, stone fruit and fresh lime peel that leads to a palate that is beautifully balanced, with a fine and focused acidity that is reminiscent of the wines of Chablis. Powerful, yet elegant, this wine finishes with chalk, dusty stone and yellow flowers.” -Ali Mayfield, Winemaker

Vintage Notes
100% Chardonnay. Crafted from Evergreen Vineyard in the Ancient Lakes AVA. Evergreen is a sustainably farmed high-elevation vineyard with varied soil types, which contribute complexity to the wine. It was harvested early in the morning on October 8th. Upon arrival at the winery, the Chardonnay was pressed, fermented, and aged entirely in stainless steel to focus on the purity of fruit. After seven months of aging, the wine was bottled in April of 2022.
