## A Goldilocks Summer

The 2025 Jaine Columbia Valley Rosé is crafted entirely from Grenache grown at Thunderstone Vineyard in the Royal Slope AVA. This sustainably farmed, high-elevation site is known for producing vibrant fruit with natural freshness, refined texture, and remarkable balance.

The 2025 growing season was defined by a shorter, more condensed timeline than usual. While bud break, bloom, and veraison arrived just slightly later than average, a Goldilocks summer of warm, sunny days without excessive heat allowed the vines to ripen beautifully and efficiently. The result was exceptional fruit maturity and an unusually early, energetic start to harvest in August. Overall, the vintage delivered outstanding balance and quality across all varieties, further highlighting Eastern Washington as one of the world's premier wine growing regions.

The Grenache was harvested in the cool early morning hours and sent directly to press with minimal skin contact to preserve freshness, purity, and delicate aromatics. Pressing was gentle, with limited rotations, before the juice was cold settled and held at low temperatures for two weeks with daily lees stirring prior to fermentation.

Fermentation took place entirely in stainless steel over 14 days, preserving the bright fruit character and vibrant aromatics of the variety. Following fermentation, the wine remained in stainless steel and aged on its fine lees for seven months, building texture and complexity while maintaining freshness and lift.

The wine was bottled in the summer of 2026. The final Rosé is vibrant, expressive, and effortlessly refreshing, balancing crisp acidity with generous fruit and a long, mineral-driven finish that captures the energy of both Thunderstone Vineyard and the exceptional 2025 vintage.
